Sakura Ping Pi
Package of ingredients to follow step by step
Method
- Bake sunflower seed, melon seed & pumpkin seed at 170°C for 3-5 minutes.
- Add hot water 95-100°C 150g into mixer. Add in butter 15g. Stir until well mix. Add in Sakura ping pi flour 150g. Beat well until smooth dough form.
- Wrap the dough with catering film & chill at 0°C – 5°C for 1 hour.
- Mix white lotus paste, sunflower seed, pumpkin seed and melon seed together. Knead until well mix.
- Scale the ping pi dough 50g each and shape it round.
- Dust a Koh Fan on the dough and mould, wrap the filling with dough & shape into ball.
- Use mooncake mould 65g for this recipe.
- Put the dough inside the plunger & press down until you feel resistance.
- Keep the mooncake chill for better taste. Enjoys.
