Houjicha Ping Pi Mooncake
Package of ingredients to follow step by step
Method
- Add butter with water, cook until well dissolve.
- Add in Houji Cha Ping Pi Flour into mix and beat with high speed until smooth dough form.
- Wrap the dough with catering film & chill for 1 hour.
- Mix pumpkin seed with FL H.K white lotus paste.
- Scale 25g of paste each and shape into a ball.
- Scale the dough 25g each.
- Dust a little flour (Koh Fan) and flatten the dough, wrap the filling with the dough and shape into ball.
- Use mooncake mould 65g for this recipe and put the dough inside the plunger, press down until you feel resistance.
- Keep the mooncake chill for better taste. Enjoy.
