Houjicha Ping Pi Mooncake

Package of ingredients to follow step by step
  • LURPAK Unsalted Butter 18g
  • Houji Cha Ping Pi Flour 250g
  • Water 190g
  • FL H.K White Lotus Paste 1kg
  • Pumpkin Seed 100g
  • Mooncake Mould 65g

Method

  1. Add butter with water, cook until well dissolve.
  2. Add in Houji Cha Ping Pi Flour into mix and beat with high speed until smooth dough form.
  3. Wrap the dough with catering film & chill for 1 hour.
  4. Mix pumpkin seed with FL H.K white lotus paste.
  5. Scale 25g of paste each and shape into a ball.
  6. Scale the dough 25g each.
  7. Dust a little flour (Koh Fan) and flatten the dough, wrap the filling with the dough and shape into ball.
  8. Use mooncake mould 65g for this recipe and put the dough inside the plunger, press down until you feel resistance.
  9. Keep the mooncake chill for better taste. Enjoy.
