Colombo Sable Cookies
Package of ingredients to follow step by step
Method
- Grind Coriander Seed with pestle and mortar.
- Add LURPAK unsalted butter 115g, grinded coriander seed, turmeric powder, garlic powder, cumin powder. & salt into a pot.
- Cook until dissolved, then let it cool down.
- Add the melted butter mixture, L low protein flour, Korean corn starch & Icing sugar into a mixing bowl.
- Beat with slow speed until dough is formed.
- Roll out the dough and cut dough into shapes with desired cookies cutters.
- Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
- Gently press a cashewnut (split) on top of each cookies.
- Bake at 150°C for 15-20 minutes.
