Hainanese Bread

Package of ingredients to follow step by step
  • HG High Gluten Bread Flour 500g
  • Castor Sugar 25g
  • Salt 7g
  • Saf-Instant Yeast 8g
  • Shortening 20g
  • Bread Improver 1/2 tsp
  • Cold water 300g

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients into mixer and mix for 20-25 minutes until gluten formed.
  2. Rest dough for 5-10 minutes cover it.
  3. Divide dough into 2 portion.
  4. Roll dough and put inside the loaf tin and proof for 1-1.5 hours or double size.
  5. Bake at 180°C-190°C for 25-30 minutes or till cook.
