Cranberry Scones

Package of ingredients to follow step by step
  • All purpose Flour 540g
  • Wholemeal Flour 200g
  • Salt 8g
  • Baking Powder 20g
  • Milk Powder 60g
  • Unsalted Lurpak Butter 250g
  • Full Cream Milk 100g
  • Egg 50g
  • Vanilla Flavor 1 tsp
  • Cranberries 150g

Method

  1. First, add 540 grams of all-purpose flour.
  2. 50 grams of castor sugar.
  3. 8 grams of salt.
  4. 20 grams of baking powder.
  5. 60 grams of milk powder.
  6. Well mix.
  7. Cut the 250 grams of unsalted Lurpak butter into cubes and adding them to the dry ingredients.
  8. Combine the100 grams of full-cream milk, 50 grams of egg, and a teaspoon of vanilla flavor. Give it a good mix.
  9. Using a medium-speed setting,beat until dough form
  10. Add 150 grams of cranberries, toss them in and let the mixer incorporate them evenly into the dough.
  11. Once your dough is ready, roll it out with a wooden rolling pin. Aim for a thickness of about 2 centimeters.
  12. Use a cookie cutter to shape the scones, brush the tops with some beaten egg yolk.
  13. Bake with 180°C for 15-20 minutes
